Dangerous Rival
Wound up stranded in ottowa and truth be told glad i did. Found my way to this diner and felt right at home. Hit the top 3 places for biscuits and gravy i ever been too and the overnight staff and customers were all polite and great for conversation. If your coming off I-80 or out here in Ottowa looking for food past midnight this is the place. Good hot fresh coffee, delicious food, and great service.

Had lunch in the full service resturant, BBQ Chicken sandwich was really good. Resturant was clean. Travel store was standard stuff. Men's room was clean and we'll stocked. Parking lot is cement and gravel. Will stop again.

In fairness I didnt not walk in the 3 star is based on parking, good in a pinch but if the truck would have been clean no way. I understand black top and concrete is expensive, but a homemade drag box is cheap and effective. But 2 or 3 more yard lights is must, I parked up my windshield had no damage but when I came out of the sleeper my windshield had been hit with something and cracked.

Good greasy spoon food. We especially enjoy the breakfast (served 24 hours). Always good food. The servers are friendly and helpful. It's one of our go-to places during our regular visits to the area. It also helps that it is in a convenient location.
